  • I recommend booking your session after your first trimester to secure your preferred date. We'll schedule the shoot between 30 and 36 weeks, when your bump is beautifully rounded and you’re still feeling comfortable.

  • Maternity sessions are available in my cozy, light-filled studio in Embree, outdoors at one of Central Newfoundland’s scenic locations, or in the comfort of your own home. Together, we’ll choose a setting that suits your vision and personal style.

  • I offer a curated client wardrobe of timeless, elegant maternity gowns designed to flatter every shape and celebrate your beautiful bump. You’re also welcome to bring your own outfits if you have something special in mind—we’ll work together to style a look that feels effortlessly you.

  • Absolutely. Your maternity session is about celebrating your growing family, and I love incorporating meaningful connections into your portraits. Spouses and siblings are welcome to join for a portion of the session.

  • While hair and makeup are not included in the session fee, I highly recommend treating yourself to professional styling before your shoot. I’m happy to recommend trusted local artists who understand the soft, natural look that photographs beautifully.

  • Maternity sessions typically last 45 to 60 minutes, giving us plenty of time for outfit changes, location transitions (if applicable), and a relaxed, unrushed experience.

  • You’ll receive a private online gallery of fully retouched, high-resolution images within two weeks of your session. From there, you can select your chosen images and order prints, wall art, or heirloom products.

  • Not at all. All of our maternity sessions are customized and tailored to the wants and needs of each client. Some clients prefer clean and simple artistic nude photographs and wraps, while others prefer to be fully clothed.

  • Not at all. My goal is for you to feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful throughout your session—and to fall in love with the final images. Every maternity session includes professional, high-end retouching that gently refines your photos while preserving your natural beauty. From softening stretch marks to flattering body contours, every detail is handled with care and artistry. You deserve to feel radiant in this season, and I’m here to ensure you do.

  • Each portrait experience is designed to be seamless, personalized, and beautifully curated. Your session includes:

    • A pre-session consultation to plan every detail and bring your vision to life

    • A fully guided photoshoot with Katie, including expert posing and direction

    • Multiple outfit changes and studio setups to add variety and depth to your gallery

    • Full access to our curated wardrobe collection and hand-selected accessories

    • Artistic, high-end retouching on all final portraits

    • A private online gallery for easy viewing and downloading of your professionally edited images
